Working in collaboration with GRSP and utilizing data from the WHO Global Status Report on Road Safety 2015, International SOS Foundation today launched a new Road Safety overlay feature to their Travel Risk Map.

From October 19th to 23rd, the City of Curitiba in Southern Brazil is hosting the 2016 World Rescue Challenge. Promoted by the Brazilian Association of Rescue and Salvation (ABRES), the event will gather approximately a thousand professionals from national and international teams, together with field experts, students and the general public.

From 1 through 3 June 216, the Global Road Safety Partnership (GRSP) team, together with members and invited guests gathered in Madrid, Spain for an agenda of key meetings and information exchange sessions, hosted by GRSP member, Mapfre Foundation.

The three days commenced with a 'Team Day' for the Geneva staff coming together with GRSP colleagues from Brazil, China, Lebanon, South Africa and Vietnam. The team looked at monitoring and evaluation best practice and how to further embed such practices in our day to day work.

More than 200 road safety experts, government officials and private sector and civil society representatives joined the GRSP and iRAP teams in Beijing China this week for the 2016 Road Safety in Asia event. Our 9th annual event of its kind in the region, the programme put the focus on the many challenges facing communities, cities, companies and countries in achieving the ambitious goal of the Sustainable Devlopment Goals of halving road deaths and injuries by 2020.

Nestlé, Zurich Insurance, Virtual Risk Manager and the Global Road Safety Partnership are pleased to announce that we will be holding our third "Roads Between Us" road safety conference, this time in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, over 2 interactive days on 4 and 5 October 2016.

This will build on the successes of the conferences held in Ghana (2012) and Cameroon (2014), and the regular "Roads Between Us" calls that developed from these events.

The event will discuss what an effective work-related road risk management process looks like and agree on next steps for implementation within the region.
